This is a 132-page book I made for my Anansi Concept. It is a Story/Art Book in the sense that all the concept art shown flows with the inbedded narrative.
The book explains the Anansi Concept and world mythos, as well as their social structure and written language. It shows locations, architecture, weapons, attire and other everyday items.
The book has 47 different characters in this book, with 5 of the having multiple looks for the story. The role, (limited) history, look and traits of each character is also explained in a paragraph in relation to that point in the story in which he/she/it appears.
A Development Book which shows my thought process in creating the narrative and look of the Concept as well as research, influences and visual inspirations. It contains a large amount of sketches used in developing and finalizing character designs, locations, alphabets, fonts etc.
